Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 2025

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (the “Agreement”) set out the legal terms that govern your access to and participation in Pilates classes, services, and related activities (the “Services”) provided by Small Pilates. Small Pilates is operated by Lydiana Abbott LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15993168 and registered address at: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ (“we”, “us”, or “the studio”). By booking a class, purchasing a pricing option, or attending any class at Small Pilates, you (“you” or “the client”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions and the accompanying Liability Waiver. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

2. Pricing Options and Class Credits

We offer various pricing options for the purchase of class credits. Our full pricing can be found here. Each credit corresponds to one class booking unless otherwise stated. All credits are subject to the Cancellation & No-Show Policy (see Section 3). Class credits are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by law or agreed in writing by Small Pilates.

3. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  • Early Cancellation: You must cancel at least 12 hours before the class start time to retain your class credit.

  • Late Cancellation (within 12 hours): The class credit will be forfeited for all pricing options except ‘Ultimate’, where a £17 penalty will apply.

  • No-Show: The class credit will be forfeited and a fee will apply: £5 for a missed Taster Class; £8 for Single Class credits, Class Packs ‘Mat 5’, ‘Equipment 5’ and ‘Equipment 10’ and Monthly Memberships: ‘Mini’, ‘Resident’ and ‘Pro’ only; and a £28 for Monthly Membership: ‘Ultimate’

Fees will be automatically charged to the payment method on file. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in temporary booking restrictions.

4. Arrival and Waitlist Policy

  • Please arrive 5–10 minutes before class begins.

  • If you have not arrived 3 minutes before class start, your space may be offered to another client.

  • If you are on a waitlist, you may be added to the class automatically up to 60 minutes before the class begins.

  • If a place opens within 60 minutes of the class, it will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • You are responsible for cancelling both class bookings and waitlist positions with at least 12 hours’ notice to avoid penalties.

5. Health and Physical Condition

By participating in any class at Small Pilates, you confirm and warrant that:

  • You are in good physical condition and do not suffer from any medical condition, illness, or injury that would prevent your safe participation.

  • You acknowledge and accept that all exercise carries inherent risks.

  • You understand that Small Pilates instructors may provide hands-on adjustments during classes. You may opt out of physical contact at any time.

  • Small Pilates does not offer medical advice and recommends that all clients consult a qualified medical professional before beginning any new exercise programme.

6. Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk

By attending classes, you voluntarily assume all risks related to physical activity and agree to the following:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby:

  • Release, waive, and discharge Small Pilates and Lydiana Abbott LTD, including its directors, employees, instructors, agents, and contractors (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from any and all claims, demands, actions, or liabilities arising out of or related to any injury, illness, damage, or loss sustained during or resulting from your participation in classes or use of facilities.

  • Accept full responsibility for your participation and all risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen.

Nothing in this waiver shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Small Pilates or its employees, in accordance with the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
